Design Team

A team of four Laurier undergraduate User Experience Design majors.

Design Process

We begin by drawing from our own experiences as undergraduate students while conducting user research, journey mapping, and gathering feedback. For the Service Laurier Enrolment Services webpages, this revealed key pain points, such as unclear navigation and information overload. Next, we defined the core problem—students struggle to find essential information due to a deep and confusing site structure. From there, we brainstormed solutions like merging pages, adding a newsboard, and renaming unclear labels. We then moved into prototyping, where we designed a news board. Finally, we gathered all of our research, key findings, and recommendations into a master research document for the client.
